There are 3 types of memberships of the Red Eye Yacht Club. Each membership holds its own unique attributes. The choice is yours to decide which membership is for you!
A primary regular member is one having been approved by the membership, remains in good standing with the company, and who is compliant with all monetary and other obligations as defined in the Constitution and By-Laws. These are our voting members and owners of the club. They own a boat, have a slip, and remain active within the club.
A secondary regular member is one who is the spouse (defined as Married Partner), significant other (defined as Romantic Partner) or an Immediate Family Member (defined as Mother, Father, Son, Daughter, Brother, or Sister) of a primary regular member who has applied for membership and has paid the annual membership fee. The secondary members are able to vote and are are required to abide by the clubs constitution and by-laws.
A social member is one that desires to be involved in the CLUB but does not own a boat or is not interested in a slip at REYC. These members are obligated to attend REYC affairs and pay for chits like primary members. However, they are not able to vote on club issues and may not hold an office. Social members are required to abide by the clubs constitution and by-laws.
